Raise the Paddle Fundraiser

Saturday, February 2, 2019 from 6:15 – 10 pm

Highland Park Improvement Club

Join us for an evening of fun, food and fundraising. Our theme is “Tailgate & Celebrate” so wear your favorite team jersey or Madison spirit wear! This is our primary fundraiser, which funds the majority of our PTSA budget for the entire school year. We NEED your support! Tickets are $40 and include dinner.

Our party at the Highland Park Improvement Club will include:

Raise The Paddle: This is our main fundraiser at the event. Just like the elementary school auctions, the auctioneer will ask for parents to raise their paddles to make a monetary donation. Parents raise their bid cards at the amount they wish to donate and we’re done!

Raffle: We’ll raffle off fun items. Tickets are $10 each.

Event: There will be food, adult beverages (Jello-shots are back), beer pong, corn hole and a DJ!

Bottomless Beer Steins are back! Purchase a Madison Bulldog glass beer stein as an add-on with your tickets, for $50 (unlimited refills).  Perfect to take home for your Madison Student, for Root Beer Floats. Only 70 available, so purchase now!

Contact Erika, the Madison Fundraising VP to help, donate, or with any questions!

Direct Drive for the end of 2018

This is a call out to Madison Supporters who may have missed participating in our Back to School Drive – now’s the time to get in that donation before the end of the year!

The Madison PTSA supports our students and staff by making funds available in every classroom and every department!  Teachers have been accessing money from the start of school and continue to find important curriculum and supplies to enhance their teaching, reaching all students.

The PTSA has already sent teachers to professional development, purchased books for teachers and books for students, and helped Ms. Bell realize her vision in the library, with a welcoming sitting area to help students want to read.  These are just a few examples of how your donations are working for our community.

Your year end donation would help us to know that we will be able to continue this work!  We also work with employers that give matching donations.  Any questions can be directed to either the PTSA President – or the PTSA Treasurers –,

Thank you!

2018 Thanksgiving Food Drive

Help Madison Families – November 5th – 15th

It’s that time of year again to kick-off the 2018 Thanksgiving Food Drive with the Science Classroom Food Competition.  In years past our school has donated and delivered over 3,600 pounds of food to Madison families. Some families also received gift cards to shop at local grocery stores, thanks to the monetary and canned food contributions from Madison Middle School staff and families.  Together we can meet our goal of helping 16-18 Madison families have a better Thanksgiving.

6th, 7th & 8th grades please donate canned vegetables/fruit/soup, apple sauce, pasta & pasta sauce, chili & beans (dried or canned).  These are suggestions– any canned food is appreciated.

**If pulling from your pantry. Please be sure that canned foods are not damaged and their shelf life has not expired. We did have to dispose of a lot of canned and pasta goods last year.  Thank You

Please have your student(s) drop off canned goods to their science teacher’s classrooms during the food drive dates.  The competition is based on weight and the winning class will be announced on Monday, November 19th and given much praise for doing service to our community. They will also receive the coveted “Turkey Cup” trophy to display in class for the year.

** Any excess donations that don’t go to Madison families will go to our West Seattle Food Bank

Thank You for your support. Any questions feel free to email me directly-
